I was born in a small town in Brazil called Carvalhos which has only 4,000 inhabitants. My first achievement was passing the Social Communication entrance exam at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora.
At UFJF, I tried to get to know the multiple possibilities of Communication, doing internships since the second period in different areas such as audiovisual, ceremonial and events, daily journalism and digital media.
My second biggest achievement was getting the academic exchange to the University of Porto, in Portugal. There, I took advantage of everything the University could offer me. I got to know how journalism is practiced in Europe, I produced a documentary, I wrote an article, I took subjects that don't even exist in Brazil, I studied with world-renowned professors. I also took the opportunity to grow personally and culturally. I traveled to many countries, I developed my English and my French, I visited museums and I was able to experience the history that we study so much in books.
After graduating, my first job was as an advisory manager my University, where I was able to develop social and sustainability projects and lead a multidisciplinary team of eight people.
Later, I worked for almost four years as a reporter for the newspaper Tribuna de Minas, specializing in health and education. Being able to use a vehicle that reaches a large audience to bring information that directly affects the lives of each citizen was an indescribable pleasure, a feeling of accomplishment in society.
During this same period, I completed an MBA in project management and opened my own company, offering copywriting, content marketing and SEO services.
In entertainment, I had a very constructive experience as a video producer for Big Brother Brasil 17, 18, 19 and 23 for Rede Globo's Gshow website.
In 2019, I moved to Chile and, in addition to improving my Spanish skills, gaining fluency, I was able to gain important personal and professional experiences. My first job in this country was as a Business Systems Analyst for IQVIA, a company that provides health consulting for the pharmaceutical industry. In this position, I was able to put into practice the knowledge acquired in my MBA. Right at the end of my first year, I was able to reap important results: my team started to execute ten projects a month! A number ten times higher than what was done previously, which was the completion of only one project per month.
In 2022, I had the opportunity to work as Marketing Catalog Manager Latam for the Samsonite group. On this occasion, I had the opportunity to understand how the rental industry works. I was also able to visualize how vast the field of marketing is in knowledge and I realized the need to update myself in the area. Therefore, I decided to do a College in Marketing Management in Toronto, Canada, where I am currently residing.
